چکیده
The problem of a low-velocity normal impact rigid sphere upon an infinite viscoelastic Kirhhoff-Love plate is considered. dynamic behaviour the described by fractional derivative standard linear solid model. parameter defining order governs variation in viscosity plate’s material within contact domain during process. local bearing under sphere’s indentation, as well force are defined via generalized Hertzian theory. Using algebra Rabotnov’s fractional-order operators and taking volume shear relaxations into account, integral equation for contacting bodies has been obtained. Its approximate solution allows one to find time dependence indentation force.

On Classical Dynamics of Affinely-Rigid Bodies Subject to the Kirchhoff–Love Constraints
In this article we consider the affinely-rigid body moving in the three-dimensional physical space and subject to the Kirchhoff–Love constraints, i.e., while it deforms homogeneously in the two-dimensional central plane of the body it simultaneously performs one-dimensional oscillations orthogonal to this central plane. For the polar decomposition we obtain the stationary ellipsoids as special ...
متن کاملBoundary Homogenization and Reduction of Dimension in a Kirchhoff-Love Plate
We investigate the asymptotic behavior, as ε tends to 0+, of the transverse displacement of a Kirchhoff-Love plate composed of two domains Ωε ∪ Ω − ε , contained in the (x1, x2)-coordinate plane and depending on ε in the following way. The first domain Ωε is a thin strip with vanishing height hε (in direction x2), as ε tends to 0+. The second one Ωε is a comb with fine teeth, having small cross...
متن کاملOn the contact of a rigid sphere and a thin plate
We consider the problem of the contact between a rigid sphere and a thin initially flat plate. After reviewing some plate theory, we establish that a deformation where a finite piece of the plate takes the shape of the sphere is physically unrealisable, and that the contact region must be a ring. However, for both small deflections using classical linear elastic theory and large deflections usi...
